does anyone know of any online tutorials or information about cross platform compatability of a powerpoint presentation.
it looks good on mac, but text jumps on PC.
any help is appreciated.

Should be exactly same shite quality. Be sure to use standard "web" fonts to ensure it works across different PC's.

yep, should be the same if youre using pc/mac friendly fonts.

If it's going to used on a PC, it's best to design it on a PC.
Fonts tend to render differently on a PC. Not much you can do about it I'm afraid. (As far as I know anyway).

everything is set in arial, yet it is determined to take years of my life by jumping when the client views it.

yeah... no such luck, duder... I had a client that demanded pp stuff (pp is fitting... cuz it's a weeny lil program)... I had a pc laptop at the time and only my mac in studio...
... so i cranked his crap out on a pc to guarantee the look wouldn't change
