...and I won.
Well, not the law, but VISA..
The s.o.b.'s never input my new address when I called them 3 months ago and I haven't received a bill in ages, so I call today and find out my card was cancelled 3 weeks ago due to missed payments. I was like wtf, how is this my fault? So after about an hour of climbing the ladder of minions, the CEO himself has reinstated my card and apologized profusely.
Bo!

FNA mike. Good shit man. I fought and won a similar battle with Yahoo! on behalf of one of my clients the past couple weeks.
After getting nowhere with the "Customer Support" people I eventually called their PR office and that lead me back round to the assistant marketing manager who setup a conference call between me, my client and the customer support line. In 5 minutes the refund was approved and apologies were spewing from his mouth.
Funny how in big companies there are only about 10 people that can actually think for themselves and do something and then thousands of sheep that are really a useless waste of labour costs.
