wasnt there a .gif animation about a webdesigner and a cardealer. and the cardealer tries to get a website for free and then the webdesigner says to give him a car for free ...

i've been caught up in doing too much cheap favor stuff lately. i've had to keep the collab stuff to a minimum because of it and that sucks - that's the fun stuff without constraints.
if this stuff arises, i say i'm too busy. that's not rude, its the truth.

if you actually want to do the work, don't mind doing it for free, tell them your honest work schedule. "my work is booked until x date, i would be happy to put you on my schedule and talk to you about it then." then, really put it down and treat it like a real job.
