in house=boring, abuse from people who know jackshit
agency=young hip poseur, beg for better client work, stuck in doldrums with the hope of getting out your own ideas, but knowing that you have to bounce around a lot before you even get the chance of getting a position like that. must play ego pinball. if you fail or have kids, you end up in-house. your life sucks because your passion gets shat upon.
