Just wondering what Google's plans are for the future. Are they getting into things other than just search related?
Would they ever get involved in business ventures such as a Real Estate website, Music purchasing or even Auctions?
Just curious.

google is also moving towards offering free wireless internet..they are already doing so in SanFrancisco I think. (or will be very soon) ISPS TREMBLE!!

they have to make up all sorts of future plans to keep their 400 buck stock floating. they're probably having a hard time beating ebay etc. if they stick all their tool on their front page then they'll sully their brand.

yeah enron did the same, they had many various ventures and claimed they were the best at all of it just keep this image of an enormously profitable machine...I have a feeling Google is a little more focused but it seems familiar in a lot of mega corps these days

if a company has to spring major surprises to tantalize customers/stockholders quickly then it's probably a bit screwed

personally I think almost everything google gets into they do better then the competition. That google finance is far better then yahoo or anything. They really push themselves to do things better. But as a stock its so hard to judge. A p/e ratio of 55 is so hard to quantify with how internet stocks go. I do think it will go above 500 in the summer.

from a quick read, the way they use 'Google Ads' vs 'Goooooogle Ads' is to create brand competition among a single sub brand. theyre both based on traffic. so if you pay enough for placement on the search, then you get better ads.

and the more you use google and their various 'tools' the more you see the ads people pay for and the more people will pay for these ads

google search is google's only really service all the others are security measures to ensure they recieve growth until they can find a real business model in the future, google ads is just filler, micro payments will kill google ads, until that comes all they have to ensure they can sell shares and ride out this decade, who on earth clicks on google ads? rivals and novice users like my dad not understanding that its an ad when he thinks its a valid search result,
are google thinking day to day or long term? day to day is click ads, long term is google search system being the best so they can charge connection providers, which hasn't come yet
