So... I need some opinions. I'm going to be using a simple/typical san serif font (let's use Helvetica Neue as an example) for all the content on a typical corporate business card... address, numbers, etc...
What would be the optimal size for this info? Is 6pt too small? 7pt? 8pt? I think after 8pt, it's all too large... for most designs. The card isn't fancy... isn't trendy or really "designed"Thoughts?

7 and 8 are a nice size for contact info.
I could go bigger on names.
better too big than too small.

So... does that mean you think 6pt is too small?

no.
but it's better to err on the side of caution.. not everyone has good eyes.

flip through your rolodex
while small type for contact info is aesthetically pleasing.. it's annoying as fukc when you have to strain to mix in a phone call.
... the whole point of a business card.. form follows function and all that piss...

There's gotta be a happy medium... large enough to read, small enough to be a pleasing design.

sorry man, a well designed card is a good thing. i was just running through my rolodex today looking up sources and had to pluck each card and really stare the number to see the phone number
