start over, maybe less red circle more tree, drop the records to secondary importance.. I have no idea of the relevance of the rising sun/bansai but maybe you are missing some options considering the imagine it name?

I quite like the 'Rorschach' idea. But, I think the typeface, Bank Gothic, is ugly and looks dated, and how you arranged the elements could be way better.

( You could for example created a few different logos, each with its own slightly different 'Rorschach' inkblot symbol. )
Another option may be to try to create custom lettering, that looks like those inkblots that read out 'Imagine It'. That could be pretty good.

i saw the Rorschach before i saw the tree. but i agree, Bank Gothic is a pretty overused corporate font. i'd stay away from that.
what about some background? what's the company about and why did you choose what you did?
anyway, keepin workin' at it, it has potential.

if you're going to use the bonzai, I'd knock it out of the red rather than in black
