PTT used to be one of the prime companies/organizations to stimulate dutch design.
why does everything have to please clients nowadays. where's the guts?

I've been trying to fight the tyranny of orange on everything lately but to no avail "we really liked the orange" are the words I have come to dread...

haha, my colleague actually did the previous KPN logo and the TPG Post logo's when he was at Dumbar...poor guy...
- ********0
I like the type.
- ********0
the type is the only thing (and the crown) they did not change.
- kelpie0
yeah the type is nice, really dutch an' that. the space blobs though, urg.
- ********0
Yeah, the space blobs.. hmmm.
Maybe they are just a decade ahead of the game. Maybe everything will one day become space blobs.
- ********0
ahead?
BT did this like 2 years ago.. and sooo many others already..
- ********0
Nah, bt was just disks of colour mapped to a globe. These are proper space blobs. You know, like from space and stuff.

anybody elsew think that trends in logo design is a fucking wierd nonsensical concept?
"trendy logo dude. need to chage it next year though eh? I heard gradients were back, shaded space blobs are so last year"
- ********0
well, the concept is hardly different.
just blobby happy random colors..
bleh..
- ********0
hahahahahaha stewart!!!
btw, kelps: that actually brings us more work tho. so commercially it is a good thing. but it will make graphic design cheap and miserable as a whole..

I'm pissing about Crouwel.
blah...
One.
- kelpie0
not fair. translations?
- mr_snuggles0
I wonder what they do with this logo when they apply it to a fax sheet?

the new one as a favicon wouldn't be too pretty!
just seems that every week someone posts a redesigned logo on here, and it's always cack.
What's going on?
