Photoshop CS2 clipping mask layer

In previous version of Photoshop, you could create a clipping mask by selecting a layer and either Command - G or click on the divider line between that layer and the one below.
Now, when I try the same thing (The new key command is Command - option - G) the top layer becomes invisible in the comp.
I tried calling it a dickhole, but it just ignored me.
Any help?

try calling it a 'cockHole'... I hear CS2 requires harsher language than previous versions.

yep. cockhole usually does it.
