rugby one works well...not too sure on the other one...

I agree with kev.
The headline isn't quite popping for me. Maybe a bit more of a type treatment?
Love the rugby. :)

Cheers,
I will give it another look

I took an advertising class last year, so I can appreciate the difficulty of coming up with good ideas and I also know one when I see it.
That said I dig it. I think you can push it even further with the imagery you use, but as a concept it is solid.

It's more the concept at the moment
The imagery will have to get stronger

I like the rugby one.
Beef up the copy.
Nice work.

What is it with Nivea that makes me want to change from the brand I am using now? That they test on animal-like bruts?
Like the imagery and the idea. But would it sell more Nivea bottles then another ad?
Just thinking out loud.

Do they actually test on animals? If they do, then the concept is a bit wrong for me...but then i'm a veggie...
If they don't it's good, on both levels.

I was thinking along the lines of advertising in lads mags. So it has to be a little quirky
As to them really testing on animals , I suspect they probably do (as do most companies along those lines)

(Mar 20 06, 07:02)That was kind of the point I was making with the beagle. If they do, you're fucked. They won't go near your idea.
- kev_charlton0
yeah, that's pretty harsh.
Go with the beagle.
- Bite0
Fair enough, the beagle it is.

jesus christ. it's 'tested on animals' and it shows a picture of an 'animal' as the rugby player.
in fact i think the concept has been done before a long time ago. (maybe).
you folk need to stop taking everything so literal and relax a little bit.
- Bite0
thank you!

what the fuck are you dribbling about now kona?
- ********0
if 'dribbling' = telling you to stop being such a pussy than i guess i'm dribbling on about that.

Great concept. Keep pushing the graphics and typography.

well thing is if they DO test on animals then it doesn't matter how natty the concept is, its a banana skin for them pr-wise. I think that's the point.
They look cool though, fingers crossed they don't, but the shit storm it might cause if they do and were to print could border on the unholy...
- kelpie0
...which would shift bucket loads of units, of course. any publicity is good publicity ;)
