I only file my S-Corp taxes once a year. Same goes for an LLC or sole-proprietor. Usually the quarterly stuff is for employee withholdings when people work for you.
best bet get an accountant. Costs me around $200 a year to work with her and my mind is at ease.

I got hit with penalties last year but it could be because I paid my federal taxes in like August. hahaha.
I gotta ask my tax dude this year about what the deal is with all that since I'll probably be doing freelance full time for the rest of the year.

i think barbtastic is correct. i got a penalty charged too a couple yrs ago.
regardless, quarlerly payment is the best practice. you don't wanna pay 10s of thousands all at once.
just get an accountant. he can help you out with all that and let you know what record you should keep.

true! nothing is worse that trying not to spend all those $$$ for a whole year, and then having to give it all away.
