Cool how X appears in the end credits. V. X.
My own trivia.
"Remember, remember, the 5th of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot;
I know of no reason, why the gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot."

i wish they'd been a bit more subtle, this is like 'my first revolution'. and what happened to the chancellor and his dick cheney-like second in command just drove home the point that this is nothing but an overheated comic book movie, completely unrealistic.
it could've been great, but it choked.

it was rad.

saw it last night - sorry I really fuckin hated it.
I hated it only because I thought it could have been much better.
On principle - A good movie
On execution (script & direction) - mediocrity overshadowed the best of what it had to say.

I think I speak for all English majors when I say,
THIS FILM ROCKED.
Except for all of the things already pointed out. Plus, it was quite cheesy at a few points. Does he REALLY have to fall in love with her at the end? And Purefoy would've been much hotter as V.

I honestly think that this movie SUCKED. Big time.
It was really cheesy and plain... with a couple of nice effects, but they're not worth the money you pay to watch the movie.
They attempted to do an interesting script, bit it still turned out to be lame Hollywood usual stuff...
I really don't understand why people like it...
I watched it at IMAX yesterday, and it still didnt make the movie better.

Thompson, i guess we're the only ones here who think it stank.

I didn't like the cheesy-ness, but the ideas were really interesting.
Plus, I loved the alliteration.

do they show the guy's face at the end of the movie version?
- Jaline0
No, but that's a good thing. Most people know which actor portrayed V anyway. Although I STILL wish it were Purefoy. Not that Weaving wasn't great.

Liked the movie except for one thing. The long dialog with him talking with his mask on. It was like he was just sitting there bobbing his head around. Made it seem almost a bit cheesy.
