Could use some feedback on a logo that I am working on: http://broken45.com/fc/logos2.pd…
Was also wondering what peoples thoughts were when it comes to branding in terms of a name. The official name of the company is 'Full Cycle Media' . Is it absolutely neccessary to have 'media' in the logo? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

interesting mark... does it have a meaning? its a good start... and I agree, the type needs work.

the box is to big for the shape inside it, and the type is horrible, makes it look very dated.
the colour is pretty gross too

Its still very much a work in progress. Thought I would just throw it out there to get some feedback. Thanks for the kind words Rasko.

fo shizl, ma snizl..
you need to work on the balance between logo and type.
also don't post pdf's here. gif's will do fine.
other then that, not bad for a saturday!

The font is way to condensed. You should think about using a more curvy font that would work better with the logo. Here are some suggestions:

Do you have a rationale for the mark? i like abstract logos but this concept escapes me... Also look at graphic / type proportions... mark is too small in top right... not big enough in the one below... too even in the next one... this mark is kinda hard to work with... consider all caps / all small caps font treatments as you have upper lower going on now and it is kinda distracting... also - consider kerning and other font tweaks (look at how f runs into the u....) good luck!

I agree, doesn't look "full" or a "cycle" to me

I agree that the graphic is nice, but the font leaves something to be desired. I would also explore other colors. Don't know why that green feels icky.
As far as branding and the name goes, I would suggest leaving the full name in if its a new company. If you are rebranding then maybe you can take it out. Depends on what they are trying to do with the company's character.
If the name is giving you trouble, it may just be the font treatment. If you absolutely must keep the color, then maybe offer us some screen variations of the green. Like make the graphic a lighter shade of the same green. Production will still cost the same to print if you do that.
Other than that it feels like its getting there. Very cool.
