damn bro i like it. The photos are great also. I like it alot. Bookmarked :)
one thing that was kinda strange was when i first when to the site and put my cursor over the rolling head image the cursor didnt change. I clicked anyways. It was strange but not bad kinda cool actually cause i was surprized it actually triggered something.
good stuff. how do you people do this stuff with flash!
- hiten0
ha forget it i was just impatient and started clicking things
i didnt have to click for it to change. sorry. I need to slow down.

Hate the head too. Doesn't fit in to the site.
great movement and better photos.
Love that he surfs.

I clicked about and contact while in a gallery and the pic stayed up which made it impossible to read to content.
also the images were pretty bad quality until I opened my browser up full screen. I think flash 8 has something that will help that.

some bugs to be worked out and the head logo... umm... don't see the connection there
- hiten0
well yeah the head logo was alittle iffy i thought also but i thought it was the photographer actual face so i didnt think to point it out
- kyl30
if its not his head then chop it off

seems like an aweful lot of clicking just to see some pictures. id get rid of the first two pages and refine the typography perhaps.

Off to a decent start. Clean colors, smooth simple interface, fairly intuitutive.
Here are a few things:
The execution of the gallery needs to be sorted out. There is no way to go back to a thumbnail view. once you open an image, you are stuck there flipping through. if you hit "back" you go to the beginning.
image quality is bad. it appears you are resizing the image base onthe mc size/stage size. not good. pic a size a standard size for the image (horiz/vert) then adjust the mc based on the width...not vice versa.
i see the "playful" in the image and the font choice, but not in the overall site. site echoes a bit more than what the photographer is - whimsical, hippy, surfer dude - the site design seems more pised, polished and sophisticated. its one or the other. or...new idea.
my 2cents.
out of 5 stars i'd give it a 3.

sorry for poor grammar. typing in dark on 12" powerbook.

nice and clean, but I also don't like the head. visualy it just doesn't go along with the rest of the site. and the head rotation has to go. it almost made me puke in my mouth. I just had for dinner a veggie dog and some organic onion rings and root beer, so I wouldn't mind swallowing and digesting them again, but still....

I like it and I like your type choice - fresh.

llink back to the thumbs would nice and extend the hiit area into the image so you can click thru on the image.

I like the way the site operates. Dividing the photos into sections works well in this case since there are so many, but I'd be tempted to get rid of the "click to enter" home page, just because i don't like those.

Black text on an almost black background? Is it just me or is that quite hard to see??? I don't like it :(

I like it but two things:
The head,
The jpeg scaling artifacts (there is a smooth jpeg display script around ask me and i'll email)

Lose the head. It looks stupid and unelegant. Other than that, site is top notch.
