help me get rid of this damn thing. anyone ever uninstall it?
i dragged it to the trash
i went into system pref's and told it not to use Flip4Mac to play WMV's.
but it won't go away!
everytime i view a WMV in my browser it plays it using quicktime through WMV and stops halfway because i never registered it. now i can't get rid of it.

I didn't know you had to register Flip4Mac. ?? It's free right? I've had it installed for a while now.

It's free, but it only allows you to watch only half of the whole thing, until you buy it.
That's crap if ask me!
- skelly0
yeah it is crap, especially when i can't F'ing uninstall it!
- honda0
maybe see if there is a serial for it?

good call. since when i open the wmv's in windows media player, i can't fast forward without it crashing.
is it me or is WMV the worst video format ever conceived...

Serial Box is the shiznit...

well serialbox only has up to ver. 1.3 i think. and i just downloaded ver. 2 of Flip4Mac.
BUT, unlike my old version, this one actually listens when I tell it to not use Flip4Mac in the browser.
what a headache.

Yeah that app fucked me off for ages. Have you deleted the component from the 'Library > Quicktime' ?
Took me a while to totally delete it but got it eventually.
