I have to make a full screen presentation for a trade show which they will run from a computer. I was thinking about doing it in After Effects for a slicker broadcast presentation but Flash might be easier to deal with full screen.
What should I do? and What dimensions should I make the file?

does it require interactivity, or is it just a promo that runs on a loop?

whatever the production environment, make sure the final file type is something VERY accessable. ie- you will inevitably break your computer, not have the correct connections, battery dies, ect, ect; make it a very common file type (QT, .mov, .exe projection, .swf, ect)
this is 100% from experience as well. now *if* you can guarentee the hardware/software you will have there, then do not do what i just said. but the chances are low.
oh, and make it as simple for others to work on should you not be able to finish (another worst-case scenario)
