What to do?
I have been battling with a registrar that charged me 60 bucks for trying to renew a domain name of mine. Thing is they have Failed 6 times..." and keep trying to renew it! It has almost been, "1 month in the making". What makes me even more pissed off is, they dont even own the domain name anymore since I just transfered it over to a new registrar last week... and with no problem was able to renew it.. But they still flood me with emails saying this domain name need to be renewed..
And since they failed.. you would think "THINK" they would charge back my CC
But no... they have to cut me off when I try to talk to them on the phone.. and not reply to my Support Tickets!PLZ NT what should I do?
Talk to Visa? And ask for a charge back since I did not get any service?

that's a start

but dont, Charge backs effect my credit rating? and such? The registrar says " they take charge backs" very seriously. And that they will file my cc number to all these companys to blacklist it and such..

if you have online banking check if the payment order is still active. If it is, cancel it. If it is and you can't cancel it, call your bank.

So much BS and extra work..... I guess I better transfer all my domains from this registrar to another one.. since they will cancel my account once I do a Charge back.. and I dunno if i will be able to axx my domains if I do not do this..
What's a good Registrar that has a 1800 number? I was on the phone with my now X Registrar for like 35mins .. "25min wait" what makes things even worse is.. its not a bloody 1800 number

Also everyone avoid Registerfly.com as if they are the Black Death of 1347 AD

you should never have to call a good registrar... it should be all straightforward and under your control ... use GoDaddy or something similar.. cheap, good online tools, full control over DNS as well.

when I transfered the troubled domain name to a different registrar.. it was godaddy and like I said I had no problem renewing it..
But I also now notice they do not had a 1800 which I was amazed not to see.. "looking for a company" in Canada i hope, there is such a thing :)
