my best friend, flatmate and brother-in-heart, my lovely cat Tiger was released from his struggle today and put to sleep.. had a tumor in his abdomen.
he died peaceful on my arms.
I'm so sad beyond words - he was my home for almost 17yrs.

that's really sad. Sorry to hear that. Looks like a good looking cat with tons of personality. Again sorry to hear about your loss.
Losing a pet can be quite depressing, specially when you're 10 years old and it's run over right in front you when you're playing with it and the driver drives away fast.

I know how hard it can be to lose a pet.
My dog died couple years ago. Still makes me sad to think about it.

Sorry Thomas...Tiger looks so regal in that pic! Pets are family, Homie.
My Dog was put to sleep after 15 years...every time I BBQ in the yard I pour out a little beer in her memory...she LOVED beer!
RIP Tiger...all the mice you can catch!

my cat died recently. for the past couple of years every time i went home i sat with her knowing she was going to pass soon and i'd pet her lumpy bones and tear up. my mom didn't spare me the details. a bulldog came through and tore her apart.
i've always found it ironic that my mom's name is joy.

you'd think you'd get to a point in your life where you wouldn't get torn up by that stuff, but turns out you never do.

aw tomkat...he looked just like my cat Nico that kicked it at the airport as I was on my way to the states...I'm sorry...but at least you got a loong time to spend making memories and good times - just think of all those
