Love how he throws all those jazz chords in there for good measure, pretty amazing.

I always knew there was a reason for the strings on Eleanor Rigby. And after listening to that, I'm now certain as to why.

"That guy"?? I guess everyone here is pretty young..That's Stanely Jordan..only had a #1 album on the billboard jazz charts back in 1985...won a couple of grammys..that sorta thing...
- krust0
really? he looks about 18!

Stabley Jordan was bigish in the 80s – has done nothing since and his technique is pointless and gimicky.
There's a guy in covent garden market playing in that 8-finger tapping style most days.
It's not really proper music just a gimmick that doesn't hold up over time.
Someone like Jennifer Batten has done some interesting things with 8-finger tapping and she plays with Jeff Beck and is therefore awesome.

Yeah..jeff Beck is the Man. Here's his take on the Beatles:

TheBlueOne you rock!
Jeff Beck is without doubt the best guitarist living at the moment (electric) he has amazing technique feel and is still innovative.
Compare him to someone like eric clapton who started at the same time as Beck and was once 'god' he's not improved since the 60s infact probably got worse. Beck on the other hand continues to learn, improve and evolve.
Genius!

wow... every link very inspiring... although I'm a lil bummed by the 'hatin' going on by some folks regarding technique... :(
... i'm inspired as *$#&... thanks all!

"that guy" sort of perfected this technique and made it popular and known to a larger media.
for me, you can't top the chops of SRV

when searching youtube for more jeff beck clips I came across this song that Stevie Wonder wrote for Sesame Street. It's great!
Stevie is in my opinon the greatest songwriter/singer/musician ever.
