The bear in the Toblerone logo is a so-called pareidolia, just like the famous Belgian statue of Manneke Pis (the nude little guy urinating - Brussels) seems to appear in the front leg of the camel on the Camel cigarettes package.
Btw, to point out only ONE favourite logo is really hard to do, 'cause there are so many I like. It's not really a logo in particular, but I'm very interested in newspaper (re)designs (I'm a journalist myself). There aren't that many nice and strong newspaper logos, but e-types (Denmark) did a very good job on 'Dagen' (http://www.e-types.dk/visUKProj... Another favourite of mine is the recent redesign of The Guardian.
