is the product something related to web or something related to a product. regardless, IMO a print ad pointing to a website is very hot, where a web banner pointing to a website would not be so enticing.

Banner ads are a BIG no-no as far as I'm concerned...I'd never click on one because they are annoying.
What are you advertising?

(Feb 22 06, 10:44)Gotta agree to disagree with you there. Our company makes shitloads of money for clients serving up web banners.
Depends on the product/service, and depends on the audience.
I agree with Robotron about a combined effort. "Multichannel" is a big buzz word in the industry now. The more integrated, the more the client gets sold on it frequently.

well its not me that is looking to advertise , but I am redoing our website and I am looking for a better way to get ads on our site accross better .. seeing as a lot of business advertise on print over the web , was looking for some reasons on why people choose print much more ...
the ad can look even better online and color is no issue ..and can be optimized
print is expensive but nothing beats a full color ad
I am trying to lure event and concert promoters to give us a look when it comes to promoting a show here in town events is what will be advertised (concerts, seasonal parties)
