Anybody using one? And would you recommend it?
Thinking of getting one, but I'm sure Apple will be bringing out a wireless one soon knowing my luck!

is this the scroll wheel mouse?

Yeh the one with the small grey scroll wheel

I've got one, but much prefer my others for overall feel and features:
Microsoft Intellimouse Optical (wired)
Logitech V500 laptop wireless mouse... nice scroller (no wheel, its touch sensitive), and the wireless USB thingy stores inside the mouse, which then folds inside itself to make it even smaller for travelling:

thanks for the suggestions Ribit but Im a total apple nut

I'd probably be considered an Apple nut too, but I dont think they make the best mice... (which is strange considering their focus on usability)

i have one but never use it in favor of a wacom
i would have to sit down and learn how to use it i guess

the scroll wheel on the mighty mouse picks up all that shit that you find inside a standard mouse when it stops functioning. infact the scroll wheel stopped scrolling up because of this the other day. had to give it some vigorous index finger action to get it working again.

a regular windows dual click mouse is more intutive imo
and you can't really use the side buttons on the mm without clicking the main click on accident

i've heard nothing but average reviews about apple's scroll-wheel mouse - both from friends and online/mag reviewers. you're better of getting a generic 5 button scroll wheeler.

something about the size of mouse i don't like. i got big hands.

the little nubby scroller guy feels like someone left a booger on your mouse

i hated it my work got new intel imac and they came with them my hand was cramping after 2hrs....i have to go back to my trust microsoft mouse way better. I don't like them.

I have one and I think its great... 'right clicking' w/o using the option key speeds things up a bit and the scrolling thing takes some getting used to, but its not hard.

all you need is microsoft basic, plain and simple is good ;)

got one on my pc... (mighty mouse) only problam is that if you right click you can't hav your left finger on the left hand side or it thinks you're left clicking...
alo mine wouldn't scroll up for about three months... though it was something to do with being on a pc... but pushed it down and wiggled it around and suddenly worked... so a bit flakey!

They are the bomb. So much better than the lame 1-click little fuckers and they still look cool.

eek no.. thats a real cheap and nasty budget mouse... I got one it and took it back... really noisy clicking and cheap feeling. (theres a reason for the different pricing levels). Go up a few levels to Intellimouse Optical or something if you spend a lot of time working with the thing...
