i know how you feel. 2 years ago, i ended up sliding on black ice mid turn going downhill. ended up plowing into the curb and snapping off a fire hydrant. brakes, ebrake, power, nothing worked. bumper, fender, headlight, foglight, bumper beam, wheel, tire and control arm destroyed. i was happy i didn't do any more damage.

is the wheel off center? it could be a control arm. if the wheel is pushed back, it could be a strut or latteral link. hard to really say w/o inspecting it.

yeah i might have to take it somewhere. it doesn't look bad. nothing's cracked or bent just looking at it with the wheel off.

I dont know how far that place is from you. They are the resident Subaru board repair center. Tell them Rob who knows Erik from the Subaru boards sent ya ;) They do good work, but I think they are a bit expensive.
