actually TNDAP, i think it's more to do with the cumulative effect muslims arouond the world are feeling. On the one hand there is the perception that the Atlanticists are on a military crusade against them (considering the invasion of Iraq, Afghanistan, and the threats against Syria/Iran, and unchecked Israeli militarism) and on the other hand, they see these cartoons as a sustained campaign against their very being as a culture. It is not that these images are unique (which they're not - eg the South Park episode), it's that these images were printed in September, and were reprinted, and reprinted and reprinted. Considering the global communication of culture that exists today, what it tranlates to on the streets of Damascus is that all western newspapers are daily engaged in the task of humiliating and attacking us.
It's a situation being enflamed by the militant "freedom" pushers, the Islamophobic Europeans who are terrified of Muslim immigration and specifically Turkey joining their Christian clique, and on the opposite pole the Jihadists who dream of a "clash of civilisation" with the "West".
It's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

on the other hand the anti semitic cartoons which are printed by muslims are wholly different
- KuzIV0
wholly different to what chossy?
- ADKT0
No shit. We cant defend a parking lot. I mean Denmark sent a goddamn submaine to Afganistan when the US invaded. The only one we have..
- KuzIV0
i still don't understand what point you are trying to make chossy.
Is there anti-jewishness in the middle east? umm yeah, shit loads.
Not sure how that relates to what i said.. .
but please do enlighten me...
- JazX0
nice one chossy.
//I for one am going to go out and smash up every Arab style store in my neighborhood because of those. And I don't care which country they are from in that region. Just in the name of a proud religion.
- chossy0
it doesn't relate to anything you said whatsoever kuz I am simply making people aware.
- xenicon0
prophecy?
crusade?
unchecked Israeli militarism?
attacking and humiliating "us"?islamophobes? Turkey belongs in EU and has gone on record supporting DK, more than say, the US. ( see remarks by McClellan- maybe he should work for his mother instead)
200,000 moslems in Denmark w/ 40% unemployment, some economic, some political refugees. But ask yourself why are they in Denmark at all? Before 1960, how many moslems lived in DK?

Oh my goodness. Chossy has put his political hat on and he is running amok.
*dives for cover.

all land belongs to allah so why on earth should they not be allowed to stay in denmark

and he has a damn good point.

at some point, an immigrant 1st second or third generation has to make a cultural deal with the adopted country. Separatism is really no longer an option unless you have the means of doing exactly that. Otherwise, compromise is the only way of prosperity.
- KuzIV0
well it quite obviously had somethign to do with what i said cos you said (sarcastically?) that "on the other hand the anti semitic cartoons which are printed by muslims are wholly different"
maybe you were saying something like "it's ok if we stoop to their level." or.. i dunno?
- sktII0
Watch out chossy my man. Kuz here is a bully. He will hurt you if he can.
- KuzIV0
you misunderstood what i was saying xenicon.
- KuzIV0
