make the text rotate in 3d when the phone spins? Is that Flash scripted?

After FX 3D, export as SWF as frame by frame vector....

freehand has a vector 3d rotation tool which would do that with text as paths
not saying thts how they did it

You might be able to achieve the text effect with some keyframed skewing as well.

The key is getting an way to offset the axis point in the rotation. FH has a nice tool but it's pretty new to me. Guess I'll just keep trying. Thanks

it can also be multiple raster rendered images imported into the frame. then using the x coordinate to control the rotation. it's not crazy imporssible.
