Dear QBN Community,
This is a variation of an experiement. Using CV and Resume in the title, I hope to receive similar/different responses. CV isn't accessible to people used to resume. So here goes.
When crafting my resume, I would like to know how to place University of Iowa Freethinkers as a place of web design exp. Since this group, by its very nature, displays a view on religion that I think can really hurt me as a designer. Yet i have provided a community service.
I could take it out, but since I graduated a year ago, I am in wonderment (yes, wonderment) whether I should my school groups.
Thank you for a place to speak and hopefully receive some knowledge.
peace.
J

if you were worried about the politics behind the organization then you shouldn't have done the design in the first place. otherwise, don't worry about it too much and stand behind your decision. anyway, as a designer you're not expected to always agree with the content for which you design. that's a luxury many designers don't have.

if it's an issue with whomever youre applying, they'll bring it up...wont they? and then you can explain yourself. otherwise, include it and dont worry about it.
