don't throw rotten veg at me, but i am trying to get some more information about adwords on google.
has anyone done this? do the costs spin out of control? have you had any experiences at all that you'd like to share?
many thanks,

its very easy to manage and you can set daily budgetsspo things dont get out of control, you basically bid a price you are prepared to pay for each click under a certain keyphrase, you can manage all the phrases and your bids.
You can also control ads appearing on other sites (partner sites or sites with adsense).
give it a go, its worth a look, you should use the overture tools to help you find appropraite search terms

You can set a budget, so whenever it hits the maximum amount, they will shut it down.. or thats what I heard anyway..

when you set a budget, google looks at the average cost per day and then spreads your ads appearances across the day to hit the target budget. so for some parts of the day your ad will not appear if yr budget is below the average daily cost

I got a free £50 starter thingmie for a client. It has lasted him 6 months and given him £thousands in business. As said, you can set daily, weekly and total limits so that you will never go over budget.
I think their value though is largely determined by how many others you are competing against. If there are 5000 companies paying for the keywords "anal and beads" you are going to have to pay quite a lot for that search term to bring up your company.

it's not roddy the piper, is it?
cos for online spectacles i think there's a bit more competition.
"budget specs" returns half a million results in the uk alone...

overture (yahoo search marketing) maybe an easier and cheaper entry into PPC, depends on what yr marketing tho.

Yeah, it is roddy the piper.
Half a million.... yeah, could be a tricky one.

i'll look into overture, thanks, undo.
but the online budget specs think might be a slightly saturated market. muppet clients, save your pennies!
