Not a fan, a poorly drawn and very badly space drawing of Baskerville.
What does the company do/sell? How is the logo relevant to the word girlie?
It is a classical type revival (ie old fashioned) how is this relvant to a word which refers to a young girl.
I'd be interested to hear your thinking. People always post logos with no context, which I find hard to comment on.

a ligature don't make a logo.
it's clever in the superfamous example because the "g" is flipped and looks like an "8".
perhaps give your "g" some more girlie curves.

a ripoff of the 8 logo? not really. superfamous's eight, with due respect, is just another one in a historic line of mrs. eaves ligature typographic logos. it's hard to say who's ripping of who (which isn't an interesting discussion anyway).
