so im headed to rome, only for a few days in feb, but aside from being totally thrilled about the art history, I am looking for any good vegetarian eateries, hardcore/punk record shops, good tattoo shops (no crappy flash art please), vintage clothing etc....any ideas?

you don't need to take any condoms over thre at all. many a many trojans over there.

India? If that's the case you'll be clean in Roma...hehhehe

Italians do not really wear second hand cloths, so finding vintage may be a challenge. They would feel they were insulting someone to think they would wear used clothing. Also vegetarianism has not really caught on. There are plenty of things to eat with no meat, but there is very rarely even a vegetarian section in the menus.

thanks danthon...i knew that about the vegetarian situation...im not too worried, i eat fish anyway, but was curious!

Italians do it right. Live it up as large as you can and buy as many items of clothing you can find. Even their second-tier goods are better than our first hand ones in many cases.

That's because women like Italian men.
True fact.

About vegetarian eateries in Rome surely you will find something but probably you don't need one of them, a regular restaurant can provide vegetarian dishes as well.
(and keep an eye on the prices!)
Vintage clothing: it's hard to find something, this kind of shops are usually "hidden".Have a nice trip
