A) His position on a constitutional rirrght to privacy and the power of the Executive branch bug me mor ethan his Roe V Wade thing.
B) I almost think the Supreme Court overturning RvW would be a good thing for the democrats - it would move th ebattle to the fifty state legislature and also force Congress to actually write soem good federal level legislatrion - fact of the matter is that the majority of Americans favor abortion..we could turn that issue into a major ballot issue in the way that the republicans haven't been able to precisely because it is the mainstream opinion

privacy laws will be meaningless in a full-blown digital age

yeah, tick, i've heard that before.. it's just soooo fucking risky! i mean, some states have existing legislation that would make it immediately illegal to have an abortion if roe gets overturned.. the thought of taking years to craft some baddass legislation on privacy with abortion being illegal kind of turns my stomach.. but i see your point..

sure..in a digital age we're going to haver ot lose some privacy, but we must insist on the government in turn being more transparent..and a supreme court justice who thinks it's ok for the executive to have secret secret courts and invoke war powers without congress declaring an actual war is pretty damn ass scary

The crying wife...yeah, ok..Can I bring my fiance to my job interviews and if the questions get tough can she cry and make the interviewer feel bad?
