I believe the technology is almost there now if not already to use fonts other than the standard "web" fonts with standard HTML...
I'm probably wrong, but I seem to remember a friend telling me something about that...

Is is possible to have a standard HTML page on which the font is embedded so you don't have to use arial/verdana etc?

The only way really would be to use flash, but is overkill.

What if you want to see the 23rd profect out of 50. Surely that's a lot of time clicking through all those projects. But yes a menu could be added very easily.

dinkys is far more easier to read and far easier to see the work.
dinkys is much better. ive not compared their work tho.

wow, thanks poomoo. That site was great. It looked more like a pdf than a site once that gizmo was enabled. It's cool that it only take a second to render your whole page into flash essentially!

if you've got the time, take a week and learn css. it's not hard at all for what you need and there's plenty of help available on the web.

css is definitely the way to go...nice and scalable.
my site is about 5 years old and pathetic. i've been working on a new one on and off, but it just hasn't been a priority. i suck.
