Holy shit, I remember sitting on the beach one Friday night...someone had this playing on the stereo (I believe it had followed Helloween and Faster Pussycat)..someone passed me a doobie and I took a few pulls, then just as the solo kicked it this girl I'd been saying hi to for a few weeks (as you do at that age you know...she went to another school on the other side of the Island)...anyway when teh solo kicked in I was lying back on the sand staring up at the stars and she came over and lay down next to me, then leaned over and kissed me.
I got home with the sorest kiss mouth ever that night...my tounge was numb.
She moved away that summer and I never saw her again...but I remember her face, her name, how her hair smelled of Finesse and the pretty skirt with sunflower patterns and 8 hole doc materns she wore that night...and how tightly she held my hand...and how we jsut sat there holding each other staring up into the sky with the rest of our lives ahead of us...

I'm confused - I was assuming the thread was about bad late 79's early 80's AOR bands, which is different from Hard Rock/Metal bands...LA Guns is definitely rock/metal..not AOR...
AOR = Album Oriented Rock for the youngins in the thread..you know Albums..the big round vinyl...they had two sides..and..er...forget it..nevermind..
