I have the same problem, but with watches... And its costing me a lot of money.
Question, anyone ever hear of panerai watches? Most people havn't, but once you know, you see them everywhere.

panerai is around $5k-7k, i think. it's a bit steep. i am not sure if i need that kinda watch...

Nice, which GMT you like, i like the 161 personally. I picked up a blackseal 183 a month ago, I love it. buy it from http://www.paneristi.com/ and you can save a ton off of retail from the local AD. If you find a dealer they only get a couple watches so they sell them for retail or above. paneristi has them used and new, but market is worldwide so supply is abundant. And JamesE my pam was cheaper then my rollie Sub.
Depends on the quantity made for panerai's. they only make so many a year, then change it for next year. So limited quantities.

tk pams can go from around 3k - 100K. A slytech just sold at auction for like 100K, but 1 of 200 of the first run of them, makes them really rare. And yes, the name is from sylvester stallon, who had them made as presents for his crew during filming in italy.

nice, its an expensive habit, but you can always sell them. most good ones hold value well, I've sold my first rolex to get my new one. So it really only cost me the extra money, which was only a couple hundred. Its funny, people always see it and take a double look. guess the rolex and a burton hoodie looks odd. =)
