" An Eclipse at your finger tips"
I just put you on my ignore list. That's too weird. You sound like an X-Men charecter.
Just kidding. :D

you know .. 1K and some shutters sound nice right about now.. knowing that i bought the domain for what $16 US
- version30
i have asked to purchase 2 domains in the last week
one being $2700
the other $6000just start there, how much do you think they would want if you wanted to buy it?
- hiten0
take the $500 have a BBQ and dont invite mark cause he will eat your burger!!!
me and walker ill come though. you married yet or what?
- designaked0
I used to work with guys that would do the negotiating on URLs for clients. You can easily get $3000-$6000 for this. Seriously.
Tell them this: $6000 for a direct marketing tie in for your product is a drop in the barrel compared to the return.

You are assuming that this place cares THAT much about the domain. Domain-hoarding is pretty old school and I think the days of getting big paychecks from it is long gone.
Don't be an ass about it....

tr maybe you should've read the article fusion posted
- mg330
fusion41, you should start a thread on it's own for that article.
This is priceless:
“I figure any moron in the world can generate work for themselves and tie up their time. I have one laptop, no employees, and no product whatsoever -- none! This is magic.” Magic, he claims, that’s earning him $2 million a year.

AGree. Put it up on one of those sites that auctions used domains, tell them 'I happen to be selling it at the mo ment'. Start the bid at $1000 and bid yourself ;) Tell them to counter bid.
- brundlefly0
yeah if you are not using the domain, $500 is found money.
God forbid you ever need a domain and have to haggle in the thousands of dollars, $500 is a very fair offer.
be the man.
- g3kk0k1d0
agree with brundlefly, if they say no to your demands then you have one useless domain and not 500 bucks

Domain squatting is lame.
be the good guy. sell it to him for $500 and feel great that you didn't rip anyone off.
- shilohous0
you absolutely should negotiate at least one round.
tell them a fetish group of blind people that stare at the sun for spite are interested in the url as well...

(Dec 22 05, 19:28)I'm guessing profit isn't your forte.
In my opinion get what you can out of it, like i said, i want to buy 2 doamins 1 for myself being 2700 and one for some friends being 6000
Squatting is a good business practice plain and simple

sod it, listen to me, i'll give you some useless advice that i normally charge £20,000k per second for, tell them business.com went for $8m so if they can increase there offer to $900k you will sell it to them cos thats a more realistic market valuation of the prize domain of eclipseshutters.com
oh by the way im gonna charge you 20k, invoice is in the post

push it too far and you'll end up with nothing dude. you've won the lottery so don't lose the ticket.
