absolutely true.
it was for some event taking place at all of our stores.
it was a weird theme that was party as a clown would or have fun as a clown would or something completely rediculous like that. the ad tanked anyways but the ass part didn't help.

One time I messed up some phone number buried in n interactive CD.
My bosses came back to me after we had got them back from manufacturing/labeling and sat me down to tell me that I fucked up and they were going to take it out of my paycheck.
Nevermind the fact that I did the entire thing myself and had been friggin staring at it for 2 weeks straight.
They didn't even proof it for me.
Bastards.

haha, kona. I made a flyer to advertise my friend who gives bass lessons. The little tags you rip off said Bass Lessons: Call Steve" but he went and photocopied them and it cut off the B making it "ass lessons"
I suggested the sticker thing for a problem we had at work, but really, if you printed a promotional piece for yourself, would you honestly put a sticker over the phone number?? That's a step above crossing it out with sharpie and writing the real number.
But yeah, if it went to a proofer, the first thing they should have looked at would be the phone number and/or address.
