Great movie.

was it good, I am a politico freak, so this one seems right up my alley.
still haven't convinced the wife to go to good night and good luck.

been here almost three years, think I 'd know the way to use the site....
cuts back on late night coffee.
I never really liked George Clooney, but he is changing my mind of late

'good night and good luck' was a good movie too.

well I saw harry potter last weekend, save your money, and I saw Narnia today, and I thought it was brilliant even thought I went kicking and screaming.
Ahh. the movies you see when you have kids.
- bradpitt0
haha...how old are the little ones? Already watched that harry potter movie, was just alrite.
- brundlefly0
15 and 11
the 15 year old is more into the movies than the 11 year old.
Harry was good, but 5 mins of the bad guy, c'mon.
and how many times is someone gonna have to scream to him to remember to use his wand, he's fourth year goddamnit

all time favorite movies everyone?
Domestic: All the presidents men.
Foreign: Amelie.
anyone else?
- bradpitt0
So I bet they enjoyed both the movies.
Don't really want to watch Narnia, not interested in watching kids version of 'Lords of the rings'. Thats just my opinion.
- brundlefly0
was mine too.
like I said kicking and screaming.
but it was a really good take on the book, I don't get into the whole fundie passion of the christ comparisons, and to be honest I didn't get them, but as just a good imaginative tale... was impressed, didn't expect to be.

syriana was excellent. tragic, sad, as strong as traffic. clooney is really shaping up as a leading man who still can let other shine around him.
just a fabulous, spot on rendition of how the world works and how greedy the us is.

I'll see anything with George Clooney with a lot of other stars.

I didn't particularily like traffic, as I thought it mere style with little substance, but I'm quite excited by this movie.
It'll be interested to see what movies ExxonMobil et al support over the coming few years..!
*doffs hat to Jeff Skoll
