fair point soda. i guess it's partially down to my own phobic tendencies towards anything with religious undertones, which Lewis expressly said the lion the witch and the wardrobe was about. And it never bothered me as a kid, just made awed by the magic of it all.
sure i'm being a tad over-sensitive. But that's what phobias induce! ;)

well the guy was going through puberty and, well let's face it, boners happen when we least want them to. I can't imagine how much he was dreading going out onto stage to face an auditorium full of people in a one-piece lion suit with face makeup, boner notwithstanding (ahem... no pun intended). The guy put on a hell of a performance but the crowd was laughing for a good ten minutes. Shit, people were still laughing about it days later. he must have gone through hell.
