xbox was released too early and just for the sake of being early to the market (all the problems from bugs to errors already surfacing, games getting stratched), however the big names will happily support it which might give it a chance and we all know its a loss leader to get a MSoft box into our living rooms, does it really do anything different from the old xbox?
nintendo pushes the boundaries of gaming with each console release - xbox will just be the wheel reinvented
more gamecubes in the uk than xboxes according to uk tv news reports, 1m xboxes, 2.2m gamecubes and 7.5m ps2,
how are nintendo not making a dent in the gaming world? they just dont release non finished products every year and create false demand with bullsh1t hype
the only reason i will get a xbox 360 is for fifa if EASports dont support other consoles but thats only for work reasons

I got one and I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting to be disappointed but gaming in high res and dolby surround really makes a big difference. The visuals on all games I have are absolutely stunning.
Condemmed is movie like and fecking scary...will do me fine until PS3.

i'm getting a psp to tie me over until the ps3 is out, then i will decide on which one to get...either 360 or the ps3
unless of course the nintendoh! will be better

They push the boundaries of how many Mario games they can make.
Nintendo = LucasArts....both have their entire existance based on 1 thing.
.......as far as the 360......a few things to say about that: Halo 3 and XBOX Live (and, specifically for me....Top Spin 2)......I love XBOX Live and Halo 2 and PS3 has neither, so I am going to stick with the 360 but I'm not getting mine until Halo 3 comes out. The PS3 will launch at $450 or $500 for the core console.....who the hell can afford that? I bet that side by side the graphics on the PS3 will be the same as the 360. Also, I might might might consider getting the Revolution if it weren't for the WORST CONTROLLER DESIGN IN HISTORY....the PS3 is close behind in that category.

I hope Nintendo have more than a 'revolutionary' control scheme up their sleeves [and a downloadable s'ware archive] - it's hardly as if its competitors can't just mimic it.
