OK,
with some haste, I offered the SSCMSS last nite.
Well, after another day of working, I think that I have a package that is ready for primetime.I have cleaned it all up. Please let me know if you can think of anything additional that you would want to see in a CMS like this.
It is available at:

Thanks, is there a demo were i can try it first ?

awesome effort heavyt!
know you JUST got done review SQL quieries and such, but items like demo, screen shots, and technical descriptions will really help your cause (and the improvement/bug tracking tasks ;)
i love to see this sort of social contribution and hats off to you for all the hard work!
- heavyt0
thanks.
As far as demos, screenshots, and the like: you are probably correct. These things are what makes a package complete.I plan to make some needed upgrades to the blog script next, and will try to launch some online demos soon there-after.
For now, if you have a need, or a know a client that has a need, for a simple CMS, i'd recommend downloading it and trying it out.

i am interested in this.
however i would also prefer to see a screenshot or demo before i spend the time to download and install it.i think screenshots in the least are required if you expect people to download the script.
needless to say, i have bookmarked it.

Excellent! I'm checking it out now.

ldww, by the looks of your site, you are already well-versed in this area.
I like your work. My stuff is built on my spare time and meant to be consumed by designers. I think that a lot of guys are working hard to make a living and might not have a background in programming.
I wish that i had tons of time to keep making improvements. But, for now, if anyone has questions, you can always shoot me an e-mail.

I really need a demo of how to get the info into a site... how about a script to bring the info into flash? that would be cool...

excited to check it out! I've been envisioning a CSS/ASP CMS in my head for a while, so I'm curious how this might compare to what I've thought of.
Are there instructions?

(Dec 5 05, 13:12)noooooooooo!! why, why, why would you be interested in an ASP-scripted CMS design might I ask? current skills in that language?
sorry, but it just get's irked when i hear that. and i would seriously like to know why- honest. : )

any security issues with your script that we should be aware of?
- fusionpixel0
great job btw, im going to try it now.

madirish,
Yes. I've never used PHP. I'm no expert at ASP, but earlier this year I built an interactive employee directory out of some templates I downloaded, and made major modifications/improvements to it.
The CMS idea I have would build off of that.
- madirish0
gotcha mg33- no sweat at all and thanks for replying.
the real barriers i have experienced and seen w/ ASP are db connectivity restraints, cost-of-entry, and severe performance issues on large-scale projects using ASP. now, if you have the moo-la, you can build a version load balancing against a SQL server environment across multiple instances, ect but this begins to add up.... annually.
again, i think it takes all types and there are some rad ASP solutions out there for sure. i just love to entertain the critique of most scripting languages of M$ as i do not think they are as efficient or robust as some alternatives.
thanks for the info!

sorry that there isnt a demo. I think that if you install it, it will be very very clear how it works.
It really is very simple. Honestly, dont think that this is going to be the comprehensive end-all, be-all CMS. But, it will be fine for lots of applications.
As far as security, I would make sure that it exists in a secured directory, so that others cant go in and have fun with your site.

I get this warning:
