yay! i went to get my morning coffee wearing only a tee and a jean jacket and kicks with no socks only to get hit in my chest by a SNOWBALL!!!

nic came up yesterday to board with us. he may be coming up again today. it's brutal out here. almost too much snow!

oh but its powder!!! i miss being on the slopes. i used to race for this tiny mountain and one day it was 77 degrees and all the snow was like ice and slush and me and the rest of the team went up to the top and raced down. it was a doulbe black diamond of ice patches.
i fell, real bad...broke my left thumb is 4 places, my pinky and ring and fuck fingers all smashed, ripped the liggaments of my right ankle and fractured my left clavicle.i never went on a mountain since. that was back in 1988.
i go water skiing now!!!

that sucks, eddie. i had a couple of bad falls in the past but never a major incident. this year, i am wearing a helmet, just in case.
i never thought i'd complain about having too much snow. we had about knee deep fresh pow. we got stuck so many times and couldn't get out! i was sooo beat and high altitude is killing me.
