hello
does anybody know if there exists a special font for film subtitles? Or what is the standard?Thanks

just use Helvetica. Its standard no matter how its used, and legible.

Quick google search, don't know if this helps...

don't "just" use helvetica. it can come out pretty crappy on telly's compared to other fonts.
you need a leaner font, one which is lighter and slightly condensed for best use of space whilst maintaining legibility.
