hi, i'm a long time lurker short poster.
of course the punishment fits the crime. just ask the families of those who have been murdered and robbed so some junkie can get a hit. or ask the teenage junkie who after three hits became so physically addicted that he turned to crime to get a fix.
pay off his brother's drug debt? bitch please. he and his brother went to a catholic high school, meaning that his family had some money, so he could have turned to them. i personally think he got off light, keeping him in prison for life so he could be butt raped and beaten would have been more fitting, but more expensive to the tax payer. singapore have a nice clean (relatively) crime free city because of no tolerance punishments like this. his punishment is fair and i'm sick of all the fucking human right fucking hippy freaks who kick up a fuss at this shit, look at what his crime does to society and ask yourself how it would feel being affected by it.

I'd prefer the fair (if harsh) legal system rather than the American law system where you can break into someone's house and sue them for not locking their door when you get injured.
Peddling drugs destroy more lives than just those of the users.

most south east asian countries have harsh penalties for drug trafficing. he had like 20 ounce of heroine on him but drug is drug.
Hanging is probably very inhumane. i hope he didn't suffer.
You'd think people would be wiser than to do things like that.

My studio is next to a church. Yesaterday I walked outside and there was 2 junkies jacking up on the church steps. I know people that have been robbed by junkies. This city is fucked up enough due to heroin and is only getting worse. Last thing we need is another drug smuggler bringing more of this shit in here. He knew what he was doing. Guilty as charged. Fell sorry for his mother, not him
