Just got a message on my entourage saying 'could not build the database' or some shit, now its closed and wont reopen, anyone heard of this or know how to resolve it!!!!

Hold down option when you start Entourage? Then you can rebuild the database.

jus tried that, it doesnt ask to to rebuild it, nothing happens, then when i ctrl click on the icon it has crashed cause it says application not responding!!!! argh, quite a lot of important shit in there too, any other ideas?

Just installed thunderbird from mozilla, anyone else have it, whats the deal with it, any good?

Entourage stores mail, calendars and contacts all in one database file in Users > you > Documents > Microsoft User Data > Office 2004 Identities > Main Identity
You should start by reinstalling Office and check if it works without your database file (move it) Your database may be fine. If the database file is corrupt there are uitility programs that can export from or scavenge the database file...
