i think the tv series is overated, i still prefer quantum leap and x-files though.

It took me about half the first season to really get into it, but now it's just starting to suck..

yeah, but it's all about actually SEEING it happen.
it's kinda like watching a whole movie when your a kid, just becuase you know there's boobies in the end.

It definitely is overrated, and one of my favourite writers just left the show. I'm equating its recent suckiness to him leaving. In my mind, anyway.
I don't really care if it gets better or not because I watch too much TV already and I wouldn't have to worry about missing an episode or about whether or not it's good.
In conclusion, I'm still watching the show, but some of the characters are annoying and die in an annoying pattern and blah blah.

It's still the most creative show to be on TV in a long time.
But most shows that are good with a unique story suffer a similar fate. They just try to keep it going forever. New characters, new sub-plots, etc., so in the end you have no idea what's happening.
The main idea gets diluted, most likely to keep it on the air longer.Honestly, though, and I only found it about 2 months ago, it continually surprises me with new things.
I don't think it's overrated, just that 99% of TV sucks so bad that it stands out like a gleaming star.
Twin Peaks comes to mind. X-Files, in my opinion, was 90% filler. The 10% was great, but the rest was just used to fill between stories with actual plots (that connected).

The episode on right now isn't too bad. But that's because I love when missing people come back and it's a big shock to everyone else. I guess I do like when 'loose' ends are tied up. Like, for example, I can't wait until more of the people find out who's dead (I won't say the name in case someone missed the last episode).

What pissed me off right from the start was that it's full of young good looking people.
Too much gloss not enough substance.
The whole show is about facing up to your past and dealing wiht your anxieties.
Ho hum.

I washed up on shore once. Because of a bender though. I sure wasn't looking that groomed like the Lost bunch always do. And that's about the only bad thing I can say about that show.
