Yes SIR! It was really time consuming considering that last time I painted I was in JK. But I've been cuttin' hair for over 10 years so I have a pretty steady hand.
Those are actually the second pair of custom kicks i've ever done. Here are the first one's: http://www.drunkenpublik.com/mis…

both pairs are super gawdy and ugly, though the effort is respectable

Nice work jeedoub!
MORE LINKS MORE LINKS ME HUNGRYYY.

Is that just acrylic paint? Does it crack or do you finish with something. I have some old shoes that could use some sprucing up.

custom kicks are piece of art. its not for main streamers but it sure is hot when you make it look good like that
- jeedoubleu0
LOL... haven't got anymore links. The Jalapenos are only my second pair. And teh fist pair was just a tester!
The first pair I ever customized were done with Basicis Acrylic paint. But the Jalapenos were done with real shoe paint. It's called Angelus. It's guaranteed not to crack and actually dries waterproof. Great shit.

so when can we expect a "how-to" manual?
- horton0
mmm...
Miss Vickie's Jalapenos!
i love 'em.

bump, damn these are hot.
How did you paint the threading on the swoosh green?
- MLP0
jee, those are sick.
as i clicked the link thought NO ONE HAS SHIT ON METHAMPHIBIAN, but taht style is oh so good.
- MLP0
i haven't heard of the angelus stuff... i'll definitely check that out. i have just seen a slew of acryllic cocktails to mix up and try

The green thread? That's my favourite part of the shoes because of the way it happende. I accidentally got some green paint on the swoosh, and then quickly whiped it off, only to notice that the paint remained soaked into the thread.
instead of freaking out I was like "Damn. That looks kinda hot!" and so I finished the rest of the swoosh that way. Apply the paint and quickly wipe it off, and so on and so fourth.
