Once Apple repair it, i am sure it will be fine.

I had a used Toshiba Satellite for a while. That thing was so old, but it took such an ass kicking. Performed way beyond the spec. Also I would trust in companies that push gaming. Alienware probably offers you a good video card and processor. AMD 32 bit owns.

powerbook... best machine for the working kind ever.
jack the ram to 2gigs.
enjoy the rest of your life spent infront of it while your marvel at the design and the work you create on it.
laugh at the fact that you've never ran a virus check or spyware eliminator, forget what a blue screen of death even is.
always work with great industrial design and you'll always produce your best.

Hey Gabe,
I had my powerbook for pver a year and a half now, its never failed me.
The battery is on its last legs since a few weeks.
I also heard good things about the Sony Vaio line. My account has it and the screen is crisp and clean, a bit jealous of that screen ;)Greets,

17" Power Book with 2Gb RAM.
Buy an external HD as it helps to keep your machine fresh and uncluttered & prey it doesn't overheat (like mine)!!!:-)

brahahahhaaha @ hp! I love wannabe geeks.
Vaio's have a beautiful screen...that will fall off after a year.
