It's funny, I've had chocolate covered bacon before and it was delicious - but why is it one of those things that when you tell it to some square they just go "Ewwwwww!!!! Gross!!!" Why is that the natural reaction?
It makes perfect sense - people love to have syrup on bacon - I know I do - and it's the perfect blend of salty and sweet.

this was on the menu of a restaurant I went to the other day, sounded interesting but i couldn't get myself to order it.
Bacon wrapped quail eggs on a stick drizzled with hollandaise sauce. Kind of an eggs benedict on a stick.
