If I ever get one of those things, there's no way in hell I'd ever re-sell the thing... I'd be going brand new... but sooo damn pricey :(

I had one at my last job. I did a search for you

They'll wear your pants outs...
Those things are lethal on your clothing...Awesome chairs though

Do yourself a favor and buy it new. I bought mine from http://www.ultimatebackstore.com…
They're in Chicago but ship for free within a day or two I believe. New Aerons have a 10 year warranty, and not that much more expensive than used. Trust me I needed to use that warranty and herman miller just sent me a new chair, no questions asked.
Good luck.

My friend is a Osteopath, She told me and showed me how to stop back ace.
It is all to do with making sure your seat is set-up right for your body and you have the correct posture in the chair. Once I managed to get that right, my back ace disappeared within a mouth. And I am still going strong today.

Thanks for the links....
Yeah I have heard about and seen the Mirra chair as well. If anyone has one, how is it? Do you like it?
The warranty thing is nice about the aeron chair, I wonder if the mirra has something similiar.
I sat in the aeron once at a friends for 40 minutes and I can't f#$^ing stop thinking about how comfortable that chair is... and being a designer sitting down all day, I want to make sure my posture is actually correct.
Cheers

oh wow, nice to know that they are prone to damaging your clothes. in that case, def get a mirra.

Heres a tip find your local Herman Miller dealer.. Call and tell them you are a designer and you want one for your home.. You will need to make a PO on leter head.. The chair shoudl be about 355 to 400 depending on your options. I would also get teh posture fit option ( no discount offered- $90)
So 450-550 with a to the trade discount. You wont need another chair and if you dont squirm in your chair and rub your arse it wont wear your pants. I have been using these chiars since thy came out with no ill affects to my garments or arse. I dont purchase mine with arms for easy in and out.
Also if you ask HM also offers a custom stool option which extends tehheight another 8 inches to forty inches.
I like the Mira but dont like the colored plastic back .. its cheaper but not my pick..
You might aso look at http://www.humanscale.com/if you do get the headrest.. its the bombdigity. We have one HS in the office for the star trek loving receptionist.

Wow, say it ain't so. That is awesome, much kudos to pagepapas for the heads up. I will try this. So I am assuming you have done this? Do all dealers offer this?

keep in mind the mirra was designed about 8 years later. I have a aeron at work and the mirra at home and I like the mirra better.
