Im trying to import vector art from illustrator to final cut. What is the best way! I keep doing it and it doesnt keep it's transparency...everything turns into a solid box! help?

yeah, unfortunately FCP doesn't keep transparency info : \
one of the things i learned while reading through giant book! unfortunately i can't get anything else figured out!

does only aftereffects allow u to use .eps files in transparency!

Final cut keeps transparency very well indeed, you could do one of two things either change your mode to rgb, then import it will work then, or convert it to an adobe photoshop file then inport it, final cut will keep transparency and even keep the layer order aswell so you can animate and change each layer in final cut. why not just use .psd files?

damn. sorry for the bit of wrong info! i seriously thought i read that it can't keep transparency.
anyway, i guess i've learned nothing! and learning nothing takes quite a while (800 page book)!
