"Blockbuster posted a loss of $491 million, or $2.61 per share, as revenues fell 2% to $1.39 billion, a shade below analyst expectations of $1.41 billion."

every single movie i rent from there i keep until the very last day before they bill me the full amount. it's my little payback for all those late fees when the douchbag behind the counter doesn't look in the overnight bin before noon the next day.

if you keep the movies long past the due back date, they have to buy more movies to stock the shelves.
you know how many free movie passes i've gotten cause everyone keeps the 'in stock or your next movie is free' movies for a week or two? it's awesome.
that's why they give you the real box now. hoping you'll keep it past the 30 days then they bill you the full price of the movie. but i say fuck those motherfuckers (Copyright 2005 Bill Perkins) to that.

I guess it's time to buy more netflix stock. The blockbuster online thing must not of panned out. I thought they were a bit late on that. They should of bought out netflix early on.

Kona, how's that TiVo thing work?
Never really looked into it. If u want to see a movie thats on Saturday night, and you're away in another state for three days. Can u program it three days before to record that on Saturday night? Does your cable box and tv have to 'on' while it does that? How many 2-hour programs can it hold at once? Worth buying?

It even remembers you viewing preferences and records show it thinks you might like.
Read a funny article somewhere by some guy who swore his TIVO thought he was gay, was recording endless episodes of "will and grace' for him.
